BCAF's Third Quarterly Forum of the year took place on Saturday 6th September 2008, at the Burngreave Vestry Hall. As with the previous two meetings this year, the event was very well attended, with over 80 people present.
We were pleased to include as our main guest speaker Paul Scrivens, Leader of Sheffield City Council and a member of the Burngreave New Deal Partnership Board. Paul agreed to attend the Quarterly Forum Meeting and share his views on the area and the future policy considerations in relation to services delivered by the Council in Burngreave.
Other speakers included:
Sheffield Homes East Investment Team who gave a presentation and answered questions about the Decent Homes Programme and improvements this would make to the Council's housing stock in Burngreave.
The Council's East Sheffield Regeneration Team, gave an update on the Burngreave Masterplan and progress with the development of new housing in Burngreave.
For detailed notes of the presentations, questions asked, and answers given you can download a copy of our Newsletter reporting on the Forum below. Also included is a sample of the feedback on how well the QFM was organised and what could be improved.
